Clwb Siarad 5/10/17: Learn Welsh with us each month

“What time is it?” was the subject for learning today.  The traditional Welsh numbers are quite challenging!  Great progress is being made and the new move to have 25 minutes dedicated to conversation is going really well.  We thanked Eve and Eleri for organising the Guided Walk on 23 September – we had a lovely morning and lunch in the Continental was up to the usual high standard.  We said “farewell” to Pam, who is going to Australia for 5 months to visit her daughter.  She’s taking her Welsh books with her and is planning to meet up with a Welsh society while she’s there!  NB the next meeting is on the second Thursday of November, not the first:  9th November 2017 upstairs in The Harris at 10.00am.  This will be followed by the Literary Group meeting at 1.00pm in the Ham and Jam Cafe.

“Faint o’r gloch ydy hi?”, neu “Beth yw’r amser?” oedd y pwnc heddiw.  Mae rhifau traddodiadol Cymraeg braidd yn heriol!  Mae pawb yn gwneud cynnydd sylweddol ac mae’r drefn newydd o ymarfer sgwrsio am bum munud ar hugain yn mynd yn dda iawn.  Diolchon i Eve ac Eleri am drefnu’r Daith Gerdded ar 23ain Medi.  Cawson amser hyfryd, ac roedd y cinio yn Y Continental o safon uchel fel arfer.  Dywedon “ffarwel” i Pam.  Mae’n ymweld â’i merch yn Awstralia am bum mis.  Mae’n mynd â’i llyfrau Cymraeg gyda hi ac mae’n bwriadu cysylltu â chymdeithas Cymraeg tra bod hi yna!  DS:  Mae’r cyfarfod nesa ar yr ail ddydd Iau yn Nhachwedd, nid y cyntaf:  9fed Tachwedd 2017, i fyny’r grisiau yn Yr Harris am 10.00yb.  Dilynir hwn gan gyfarfod y Grŵp Llên yng nhaffi Ham and Jam am 1.00yp.
