Wel, fydd Portiwgal yn erbyn Y Ffrainc neu Almaen yn y ffeinal am Cwpan Peldroed Europiaidd, but it was wonderful while it lasted.  “Cryfach i gyd” yn wir: team, fans, country (and the singing).   Llongyfarchiadau i bawb.

Gawson ni noson cymdeithasol yn The Grey Friar, Friargate.  Dderbynon ni ein Adroddiad Blynyddol  (yn cynnwys ein trafodion ariannol – diolch i Margaret) a chaeth ein ymddiriedolwyr am 2016-17 eu hethol.  Newch chi weld y manylion o dan Structure ar y safle hon.

We had a social evening at The Grey Friar, Friargate.  We received our Annual Report (including the financial returns – thanks to Margaret) and our Trustees were elected for 2016-17.  You can see the details on this website under the heading Structure.

Cawson ddiwrnod ardderchog ar Fawrth 1af – diolch i bawb wnaeth ymuno â ni.  Digon o hwyl a chyhoeddusrwydd i’r Clwb!

We had an excellent day on March 1st – thanks to everyone who joined in with us.  Plenty of fun and publicity for the Club!

Join us to celebrate our Patron Saint’s special day:  We’re staging an exhibition of Welsh items, including a “Taste of Wales” – foods, cakes etc. in the Harris Library from 11.00am – 2.00pm, then we’re meeting for a meal in the Boar’s Head, Hoghton, from 6.00 – 8.00pm, and finally we’re joining Houghton Country Dancers for a fun evening until 10.00pm.  Anyone is warmly welcome at any time of the day – e-mail us for more information.  See the addresses below also.

It was great to see so many of us in The Olive Press today!  Congratulations to the quiz winners etc, thanks to Frank for bringing his mouth organ and season’s greetings to all of you.  It’s a shame about the floods that prevented Jenny, Deborah and Val from coming, but they’re all safe.  We’ll see you next on Thursday, 7th January 2016.

A brilliant meeting today; thanks to everyone for their contribution, teaching us how to extend the season’s greetings in different languages.  Also, a very warm welcome to our new friend Kerstin from Germany – we hope to see her regularly.

Wel, mae’n trist i Loegr wedi’r hol hype, ond mae cefnogwyr Cymru yn gorfoledddu oherwydd tîm Warren Gatland yn mynd ymlaen i rownd y wyth olaf.  Hwre!

Well, it’s sad for England after all the hype, but Wales supporters are exultant bccause Warren Gatland’s team are going forward to the quarter finals.  Yes!

Wel, dyna noswaith hanesyddol!  Roedd hyd yn oed y Saeson yn ein llongyfarch yn O’Neills.  Wela i chi bore dydd Iau nesa, ffrindiau!  (Clwb Siarad ar 1.10.15 am 10.00 yb yn y llyfrgell fel arfer.)
